2023 is looking great so far! Hope you all are doing great and staying healthy. I’m still plugging away at my all acoustic album that will hopefully be completed by years end. Lots of great shows this year with my bands, The Rhythm Dawgs and the Bill Bozly Trio as well as lots of solo stuff. I still have openings so if you have an event that needs some music please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I look forward to seeing you all soon!

Looking forward to 2022 and beyond
As many of you know, I took a break back in November 2021 to deal with some personal/family stuff and write some new music. I appreciate your patience while I did this and i’m looking forward to what the next few years will bring. Apparently I had a few tunes swimming around in my brain globe. I’m currently going through over 30 acoustic songs and about the same number of electric (full band) songs to record in two separate albums. Fans have been asking me for years to do an acoustic album and it looks like your wish will be coming true soon. In the meantime, I’m booking some shows so I can get back out there and do what I love do the most which is make people smile and forget about all their problems for a few minutes. See you out there soon!
2020 Covid 19 update
Hey folks, as I’m sure you are all aware, there is a pandemic going on. Many shows have been cancelled this year and I’m sure there will be more to come. I will do my best to update here as I hear from venues and promoters as well as on my Bill Bozly Facebook page.
Please be patient and do your part to help us get through this mess.
I miss playing for you all and seeing your bright shiny faces in the crowd!
We will make it through this!!
2018 The year of turning corners
Hello, its been a while since my last posting. Now that the home I’m building is near completion, I finally got the time to finish up the tracks for a new album. I had recorded most of the material at my old house in Coeur d’Alene but needed a couple more to complete the project. I recorded the last two songs with the help of my friend David Sims at his wonderful studio. I’m in the process of finalizing some artwork before I send it off for printing and packaging. My cover art is an original piece from my local friend Julie Rae Clark. Thanks for your patience with me and hope you like the new offering! See you at a show sometime!
Summer 2017
Hey folks. Looks like summer is heating up to be another great one for live music. My deepest thanks to all the venues and individuals that have chosen me to entertain their clients, guests and families. It is a huge honor to be able to do what I do and there’s not a minute that goes by that I’m not thankful for the blessings that have come my way.
I have completed writing new material for my next album and have several songs left to record, but I’m planning on having it ready for sale by June 1, lets keep our fingers crossed. I’m so excited to share these new songs with the world.
Many of you may not know that I also play in a cover band with some great guys from spokane called The Blue Mustangs. We play a lot of older tunes from the 50′s on up, no top 40 stuff, just great dancing classics. Our frontman is Sean Owsley, who many of you have probably seen on KHQ6 delivering the news every morning for the last 10 years. It has been a pleasure getting to know him over the last few years and I’m looking forward to some great shows with these guys. Our shows are posted on my schedule with the note Blue Mustangs. Please come out to a show this summer and have a great time!!
Thanks!
Happy 2017
I’m happy to be alive and doing what I love the most again in 2017! My calendar is filling up fast with lots of new venues and businesses that are wanting live music! This is such a great sign and I look forward to making lots of smiles this year. I still have a few open weekend dates to fill this summer so if you know anybody looking for music for their special event ( fundraiser, wedding, backyard party, etc) gimme a ring! 208-699-4700 or shoot me an email to billbozly@gmail.com
Have a great year and hope to see you in the crowd this year!!
2016 flying by fast
Hello out there! Hope you are all having a fantastic year so far! Its been a year of joy and pain for me thus far. The joy part being that I’m building a house with the love of my life, taking the time to learn as much and do as much of the work that we can. The pain part being that I’m not really cut out for construction work so my body has new aches and pains daily. I was hoping to have my new album done by now and ready for summer but its not looking too good. I have about 80% of it complete, but just need to add some special touches and some new material to make it complete. Please be patient, it will be worth it, I promise!
I hope to see all of you out this year at a show! I have a schedule full of exciting concerts of everything from just me to jamming some great duos and playing with several local bands , The Blue Mustangs and Colby Acuff Band. I am blessed to be in such great company and be able to make my living here in the beautiful Inland Northwest. Thanks so much for the support and see you on the road!!
Thanks for the great summer season 2015
Thanks to everybody that helped make this last summer the best I can remember! I know that I’m very lucky to make a living doing something I love so much. It almost doesn’t seem right sometimes because I was raised to think that a “job” was something that should be hard and frustrating with no rewards other than a paycheck. I’m living proof that if you follow your heart and your passion for what makes you feel complete, that you really can make a living doing it. It seems so simple, yet people still get up every morning and trudge to a job that sucks the life out of them when they should be thriving in the prime of their life. A friend told me long ago that the only thing standing in the way of what I want to be is me. I shrugged this off for many years, thinking I would never get in the way of myself and my progress as a person. Boy was I wrong! Looking back, I made excuse after excuse to justify why I was a failure and almost convinced myself that I wasn’t good enough to do what I really wanted to do in life. Now, thanks to an incredible community that has welcomed me and supported my endeavors as a musician, I feel like a king everyday! So again, Thanks so much to all the great venues, booking agents, wedding planners and event coordinators that decided to make me a part of their program this year. I am eternally grateful and I look forward to many more years of providing music for those that enjoy it!
2015 Bridal Expo
I’m doing my first ever bridal show today at the gorgeous new event center here in Coeur d’alene, and I’m very excited. Over the years, weddings have become some of my favorite shows to play. The people are always happy, everyone is dressed nicely, and the food is usually pretty good. But best of all, it is a huge honor to me when a couple decide to make me a part of their special day. My very first gig ever was a wedding back in 1989, I remember it like it was yesterday. I don’t get quite as nervous these days but I still look forward to each and every one. Looking forward to meeting some great couples today!!
All original acoustic showcase
I’m always excited to add a new local venue to my list of places to play in the area. Recently Mulligans in the Cd’a Inn has added music and I’m going to be the first one and they want me to perform all original music from my Remedial Melodies release (2013). Plus I’ll be throwing in some new ones from the upcoming album due out in spring of 2015. Please come out and support your local scene, you never know what you’ll find out there! Thanks for the support!
